Kigali: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Kigali for an official visit to the Republic of Rwanda. He was welcomed at Kigali International Airport by HE President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe, HE Chief of Defense Staff General Mubarakh Muganga, HE Mayor of the City of Kigali Samuel Dusengiyumva, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the State of Qatar Igor Marara Kayinamura, and a number of senior officials and members of Qatar's Embassy were also present to welcome HH the Amir.

HH the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation from Qatar, marking the significance of the visit in strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
