HH the Amir and President of Turkiye Witness Signing of Strategic Agreements and MoUs.

Ankara: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, witnessed the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding at the Presidential Complex Palace in Ankara. According to Qatar News Agency, the agreements signed included a cooperation agreement on humanitarian aid and a memorandum of understanding for collaboration in the field of documents and archives between the Qatar National Archives and the Archives Directorate of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkiye. Additional agreements involved cooperation in media and communication, an executive program for the years 2025 and 2026 within the framework of cooperation in youth and sports, and a cooperation agreement in international land transport of passengers and goods. Further, a declaration of intent was signed to facilitate trade between Qatar's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Turkiye's Ministry of Commerce. An executive protocol between Qatar's Ministry of Defense and Turkiye's Ministry of National Defense on logistical support for aircraft, along with a technical protocol on logistical support for naval vessels, were also formalized. The leaders witnessed the signing of the joint statement of the 10th session of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee. The ceremony was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and other members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir. On the Turkish side, ministers and senior officials were present.
