HH the Amir and President of Turkiye Co-Chair Strategic Committee Meeting in Ankara.

Ankara: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar and HE President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan co-chaired the 10th meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. The meeting focused on enhancing strategic cooperation between the two nations across multiple sectors. According to Qatar News Agency, HE President Erdogan welcomed HH the Amir and his delegation, expressing appreciation for Qatar's commitment to deepening bilateral relations and recognizing its diplomatic and humanitarian efforts. HH the Amir reciprocated the sentiments, acknowledging the warm reception and emphasizing the strong strategic partnership between Qatar and Turkiye. The discussions covered various fields, including economy, trade, investment, energy, and industry. Both leaders exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Lebanon. The meeting included high-level offic ials from both countries, with Qatar represented by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and several other ministers. Turkiye's delegation included HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and other key ministers. Prior to the committee meeting, HH the Amir and HE President Erdogan held a bilateral session to discuss mutual concerns. HH the Amir also attended a dinner banquet in his honor, following an official reception ceremony at the Presidential Complex.
