Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong, on the death of former president Tran Duc Luong.

According to Qatar News Agency, the expression of sympathy was conveyed in response to the passing of Tran Duc Luong, who served as the president of Vietnam from 1997 to 2006. The former president is remembered for his contributions to the development of Vietnam during his tenure.
