Doha: French President Emmanuel Macron Monday expressed France's solidarity with the State of Qatar, following an attack by Iran on Al-Udeid Air Base on Qatari soil.

According to Qatar News Agency, Macron posted on X saying: "I am in close contact with the country authorities and our partners in the region," urging all parties involved to exercise the utmost restraint, to de-escalate, and to return to the negotiating table. He emphasized that "The spiral of chaos must end."
