Doha: On Sunday, France called on its nationals in Iraq to leave the country due to the worsening security situation in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, a statement by the French Foreign Ministry reported that France advises French citizens in Iraq to leave, stressing that they should reach out to the French diplomatic mission in Iraq ahead of their departure.

The statement rigorously reiterated its advice to French nationals to never travel to Iraq.
