Gaza city: Eight Palestinians were killed and others injured Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes targeting people waiting for aid in the central Gaza Strip as well as a gathering of residents in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Awda Hospital reported that four people were killed as Israeli forces targeted Palestinian gatherings near an aid distribution point in the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip. A fifth person was killed when another group of civilians was targeted in the 20th Street area in Nuseirat. Meanwhile, three others were killed in shelling that targeted a group of residents in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis.
Sources in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the number of martyrs killed by Israeli fire since dawn today has risen to 31.
