Gaza: Eight people in the Gaza Strip died Saturday due to starvation and malnutrition, which have been worsening in the region for the past six months as a result of the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Strip recorded the deaths of eight citizens in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, noting that the total number of victims from these causes has now risen to 281 martyrs, including 114 children.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to deteriorate amid the blockade and severe shortages of food and medical supplies imposed on the Strip since March 2.
This dire famine overlaps with the ongoing genocide being carried out by the Israeli entity against the Strip since October 7, 2023.
