Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelaaty discussed in a phone call today with his Eritrean counterpart, Osman Saleh, ways to develop relations between the two countries in addition to several regional issues, particularly the situation in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea regions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the two ministers stressed, during the call, the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation between the two countries and enhancing security and stability in the region.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister indicated his country's full support for development projects in Eritrea, noting Egypt's keenness to contribute effectively to development and stability efforts in Eritrea.
