Doha: Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain stated that the team is ready for the tough match against Al Rayyan at Grand Hamad Stadium on Tuesday, within the 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 12.

According to Qatar News Agency, Mirghani discussed the team's preparation and the importance of the upcoming match. "Our team is ready to face Al Rayyan. The first half of the season witnessed positive performances and a good atmosphere within the team. However, the start of the second half represents a different phase, requiring redoubled effort and focus. This leg is the most crucial in the race to accumulate points," he commented.

He further emphasized that the Al Rayyan match signifies the true beginning of the second half. The team used the break to enhance physical and technical readiness. Despite facing challenges such as suspensions, injuries, and health issues, Mirghani expressed strong confidence in the available players to deliver a competitive performance and achieve a positive result.

In contrast, Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge reflected on the team's successful first half of the season and their current standing. "The first half of the season was fantastic for us, but we need to keep working hard to maintain our position at the top of the league. Currently, we are in the top four of the league and leading the QSL Cup and Gulf Club Champions Cup," Jorge stated.

Jorge highlighted the need to maintain Al Rayyan's mentality and approach every match with the aim of winning. He pointed out the necessity to secure three points in the upcoming match and avoid previous mistakes. Jorge stressed the importance of achieving victory to start the second half of the season with a crucial win.
