Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Somalia Ahmed Moalim Fiqi and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country. Senior officers from both sides also attended the meeting.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting facilitated discussions on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in defense matters between the two nations. The presence of senior military officers from both Qatar and Somalia underscored the importance of the dialogue and the mutual interest in strengthening military collaboration.
