Doha: Weather inshore, until 6:00 am on Sunday, will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain that may become thundery by night and hazy to misty at places later, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind by night. Offshore, it will be hazy and partly cloudy with a chance of rain in the southern area by night, possibly turning thundery, the report added, warning of thundery rain at the southern areas by night accompanied by strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knots, gusting to 25 knots with thundery rain. Offshore, winds will mainly be northeasterly to easterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knots, gusting to 22 knots in the southern area with thundery rain.
The sea state inshore will range from 1 to 3 feet, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, rising to 7 feet in the southern area with thundery rain. Visibility inshore will be between 04 to 09 kilometers, dropping to 03 kilometers or less during thundery rain. Offshore visibility will range from 04 to 09 kilometers, reducing to 03 kilometers with thundery rain.
