Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing war waged by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 62,064 martyrs and 156,573 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that ambulance and civil defense crews had transported 60 martyrs to hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours, including two whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, in addition to 343 injured.

The ministry also indicated that the death toll and injuries since Mar. 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, have reached 10,518 martyrs and 44,532 wounded.

The sources further mentioned that the number of aid-related deaths in the past 24 hours reached 31 martyrs, and 197 injured, bringing the total number of aid-seeking victims arriving at hospitals to 1,996, in addition to 14,898 injured.

Gaza hospitals also recorded three deaths due to starvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, including two children, bringing the total number to 266, including 112 children.

The Israeli occupation continues its war of extermination against the people of Gaza, forcing them into forced displacement, ignoring international calls to halt its actions and open the Strip's crossings to allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
