Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 52,535, in addition to 118,419 injured.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll has reached 2,436, with 6,450 injured since the occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, following a two-month ceasefire.
The Ministry noted that 40 martyrs had arrived at Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours, including seven who were recovered, and 125 injured. Meanwhile, a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and debris, as well as on the streets, as ambulances and civil defense teams cannot reach them.
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, after a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Jan. 19. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire over the course of the two months, as it continued its bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip, causing deaths and injuries. It refused to implement the humanitarian protocol, tightening its stifling siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
