Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed on Thursday with his Sudanese counterpart Omer Siddiq ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. During the meeting, Yi affirmed that China strongly supports Sudan in maintaining its sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, as well as in its efforts to achieve peace, stability, and development in the near future.

According to Qatar News Agency, Siddiq said that Sudan considers China its most important and reliable partner, prioritizes cooperation with it, and will continue to strongly support China in protecting its core interests.
