Beijing: China's total goods imports and exports in yuan-denominated terms increased to 21.79 trillion yuan (approximately $3.05 trillion) in the first half of 2025, marking a 2.9% rise compared to the same period last year, according to official data released on Monday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the growth rate showed an acceleration from the 2.5% increase recorded in the first five months of the year, as reported by the General Administration of Customs (GAC). The data also revealed that the country's exports experienced a 7.2% year-on-year rise during the first six months, while imports saw a decline of 2.7%.
