Somalia: The African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council strongly condemned Israel's unilateral recognition of "Somaliland," demanding its immediate revocation. In a statement on Tuesday, the Council called for the "immediate and unconditional annulment" of Israel's recognition of Somaliland, deeming it a clear violation of international law and continental charters.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Council asserted that any infringement upon the borders of member states without legal basis constitutes a direct threat to peace and security in Africa. The statement declared that this recognition is null and void and has no legal effect, emphasizing the Council's full commitment to the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Somalia.
