Mogadishu: At least 120 Al Shabaab militants have been killed in Somali army airstrikes, southern the country.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Somali News Agency (SONNA) reported that the strikes in Jilib, the Middle Juba region destroyed the Al Qaeda-linked group's main administrative headquarters, training camps and weapon depot.
Somali forces have now regained control of several areas in the center and south of the country within operations that have been lasting for more than a decade.
