Doha: Art Basel, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), and QC+ have announced a partnership to launch Art Basel Qatar in Doha. Chairman of QSI, Nasser Al Khelaifi, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the alignment with QSI's mission to bring sports and culture together. Al Khelaifi emphasized the role of QSI as a leading investor in multiple sectors and the significance of hosting Art Basel in Qatar as a continuation of the legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
According to Qatar News Agency, QC+ plays a crucial role in the Art Basel Qatar partnership, leveraging its experience in cultural commerce and art curation. QC+ has been instrumental in developing Qatar's cultural infrastructure and is a natural collaborator in this venture. The partnership aims to bring the globally recognized art fair to Doha, enhancing the region's cultural landscape.
Andrea Zappia, Chairman and Group CEO of MCH Group, expressed pride in collaborating with QSI and QC+.
