Yerevan: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezehkian discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and the implementation of technical and engineering projects, in Yerevan today.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Iranian president emphasized the need to intensify contacts and consultations between officials from both countries. He also expressed Tehran's readiness to expedite the completion and conclusion of a long-term strategic cooperation program with Yerevan.
The Armenian Prime Minister highlighted that the two countries have diverse and complementary potentials that should be exploited to ensure their interests. He stressed that the shared border with Iran holds particular importance for Armenia.
