Cairo: The Arab League on Wednesday called on all actors in Libya to de-escalate tensions and prioritize national responsibility and dialogue. It affirmed its commitment to upholding its enduring responsibility toward Libya and energizing all efforts to end the crisis through a unanimous Libyan solution.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Arab League expressed deep concern over the armed clashes that erupted in Tripoli over the past two days. These clashes have terrorized civilians, endangered the lives of innocent people, and disrupted aspects of daily life.

In its statement, the Arab League highlighted that these recurrent and regrettable developments underscore the urgent need to pursue comprehensive national consensus. Such consensus is essential to fulfilling the aspirations of the Libyan people for security and stability.
