Algiers: The Algerian army eliminated 67 militants and arrested 369 others last year.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement released on Monday, the Algerian army detailed its efforts to maintain the country's security, unity, and stability, highlighting significant achievements in combating terrorism and organized crime throughout the year.

The statement from the Algerian armed forces outlined that they successfully eliminated 67 militants and arrested 369 individuals who were supporting these groups. Additionally, the forces destroyed 12 hideouts used by armed groups and recovered 104 firearms along with quantities of ammunition.

Furthermore, the report mentioned the apprehension of over 24,000 illegal immigrants in various regions across Algeria, underscoring the army's broader efforts to address multiple security challenges facing the nation.
