Doha: Al Arabi and Police have successfully advanced to the final of the Qatar Volleyball Cup for men (2025-2026 season) following their victories against Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah in the semi-final matches held at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall on Thursday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the final showdown between Al Arabi and Police is scheduled for next Sunday at the same venue, where the two teams will compete for the championship title. In their semi-final clash, Al Arabi triumphed over Al Rayyan with a 3-0 win, posting scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-20.
Meanwhile, in a tightly contested match, Police overcame Al Wakrah with a 3-2 victory. The match scores were 22-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-14, and 15-11. Earlier, Police had secured third place in the Qatar Volleyball League by defeating Al Wakrah, who finished second, in straight sets. The Qatar Cup features the top four teams from the General Volleyball League: Al Arabi, Al Wakrah, Police, and Al Rayyan.
