Al Arabi and Al Duhail Reach Qatar Handball Cup Final

Doha: Al Arabi and Al Duhail have qualified for the final of the Qatar Handball Cup after winning their semi-final matches on Thursday.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Arabi defeated Al Sadd 31-28, maintaining their strong performance this season. Having already secured the Federation Cup and the league title, Al Arabi will be aiming to complete a treble with a victory in the upcoming final.

Al Duhail earned their spot in the final by narrowly defeating Al Rayyan 24-23. They are looking to defend their title, having won last year's final against Al Arabi with a score of 30-26. The upcoming match on Saturday will be a repeat of the previous year's decider.

In other developments, during the Amir Cup qualifying rounds, Al Gharafa triumphed over Al Shamal 22-18, setting up a quarter-final match against Al Ahli. Meanwhile, Qatar SC secured a close 32-31 victory over Al Khor, advancing to the quarter-finals where they will face Al Duhail.
