Doha: Under the patronage of HE Minister of Public Health Mansoor bin Ebrahim bin Saad Al Mahmoud, Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is preparing to launch the third edition of its annual scientific conference on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Pullman Doha West Bay.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event, titled "Musculoskeletal/Neurological Disorders and Pain Management in Primary Health Care," will span three days and host numerous experts and specialists from various public and private-sector health care institutions in Qatar. Strategic partners for the conference include the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), and Servier, with QLife Pharma, Sedeer Medical Services and Trading, and Ebn Sina Medical sponsoring the conference and its sideline exhibition.

In a statement, Dr. Ghanem Salman Al Sulaiti, Director of the Training, Research, and Development Center at QRCS and Chairman of the Conference, emphasized the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach to patient care due to the increasing burden of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The conference aims to provide a platform for health care professionals to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices in managing these conditions, focusing on integrating various therapies and modern diagnostic technologies.

Building on the success of previous editions, this year's conference will feature sessions and lectures attended by hundreds of medical professionals, moderated by proficient local experts and consultants. Participants will share experiences and discuss peer-reviewed, evidence-based scientific research findings to enhance knowledge, develop skills, and improve clinical practice.

The conference will particularly focus on modern technologies in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, managing pain and its complications, and establishing criteria for referral to secondary health care. This initiative aims to improve service quality, enhance patient safety, and achieve better performance indicators, thereby ensuring improved individual and public health.

The agenda includes four components: pre-conference workshops, a main track, a pharmacology sub-track, and a physiotherapy sub-track, with 61 sessions, 58 speakers, and 35 facilitators from various healthcare providers across the country.
