Doha: Three people were killed last night when a bus overturned in the Guangxi region of southern China.

According to Qatar News Agency, Chinese authorities stated that the accident occurred in Sishui Village, located in Longsheng County of Guilin City. The remaining passengers were rescued, and the injured were taken to the hospital.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.

A similar incident occurred in western China in April, where five people were killed and eight others injured after a bus carrying 13 people crashed into a residential building.
