Damascus countryside, On the occasion of Labor Day, Prime Minister Hussein Arnous on Wednesday inaugurated Yalda transfer power station, in Damascus countryside, with a capacity of 30 megavolt-ampere (MVA). Delivering a speech after the inaugurating, Premier Arnous stressed the importance of putting this project into service to improve the reality of electricity in this region, as part of a series of projects that are being implemented in this sector. Arnous considered that the series of projects that are being put into service in various sectors, such as electricity, education, health, communications, and others, are an indicator of Syria's recovery and the government's keenness for all residents to return to their homes after securing and providing the basic services. The cost of the project amounted to more than 70 billion SYP after it was sabotaged by terrorism. Source: Syrian Arab News Agency
