Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) is participating in the second World Summit AI Qatar 2025, which kicked off on Tuesday. The two-day event is organized by InspiredMinds company, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Through its booth at the Expo, which is held alongside this summit, QNA showcases the cutting-edge technologies it leverages in the area of artificial intelligence to communicate its media message, as well as spotlighting the technological tools utilized in news broadcast, media reports, and visual content, including photos and video footage.
According to Qatar News Agency, the booth also showcases innovative models in broadcasting news, bulletins, and media reports, leveraging modern technologies, including generative AI for news-video production, which represents one of the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. The exhibition further highlights the "Audio and Video Clip Analysis System", an AI-powered program that converts recorded video and audio clips into written text, alongside numerous programs and applications that utilize cutting-edge technology.
HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi, affirmed that this participation comes as part of the agency's keenness to showcase the technological potential and state-of-the-art technologies it uses to relay its media message through modern and innovative methods that literally keep up with the latest updates in this field on the global stage. The agency operates to cope with all kinds of evolution in connection with digital transformation and artificial intelligence, both on the national and global stages, and to promote the digital future in the State of Qatar in pursuit of realizing the aspirations and objectives of the Digital Agenda 2030, Al Rumaihi highlighted.
