Doha: Wifaq Family Consulting Center, a member of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, organized a forum focusing on the role of social influence in promoting family cohesion. The event brought together a group of specialists, influencers, entrepreneurs, as well as several managers and officials to discuss this pertinent issue.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum is part of the center's ongoing efforts to enhance family stability, encourage dialogue and respect, and harness social influence to raise awareness within families. In his opening remarks, Engineer Jaber Rashid Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of Wifaq Center, highlighted the growing impact of social influence in shaping individual awareness and behavior. He emphasized that the forum represents a strategic move to foster collaboration with influencers and media outlets, aiming to create content that strengthens family values and supports community awareness.

The program featured a panel discussion moderated by journalist Mona Hawwa, with contributions from speakers Khalid Jassim, Al Fatoun Al Janahi, Hamad Al Hajri, and Abdullah Al Ghafri. These speakers shared insights from their personal and professional experiences within the digital influencer domain. They discussed the influence of content in shaping family awareness and behavior and provided real-life examples of how everyday situations have led to significant changes among followers, reinforcing family dialogue.

The discussions also highlighted the challenges of the fast-paced content creation environment for both parents and children. The speakers noted that the role of influencers today goes beyond entertainment, serving as a potent force in shaping perceptions and disseminating awareness messages that help correct misconceptions and promote positive role models.

The forum also saw the launch of a booklet, the first of its kind, showcasing individuals whose families instilled core values in them. These individuals have contributed to strengthening family cohesion and reinforcing community bonds.

This event is one of Wifaq Center's qualitative initiatives aimed at promoting a conscious family culture and building cooperation between specialists and influencers to support family stability and consolidate societal values.
