US Treasury to Offer $119 Billion in Bonds Next Week


Doha: The US Treasury Department announced it will offer a new issuance of long-term bonds next week, totaling $119 billion across three maturities: three-year, 10-year, and 30-year bonds.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Treasury will auction $58 billion in three-year bonds and $39 billion in 10-year bonds, followed by $22 billion in 30-year bonds.



The auction results for the three-year bonds are scheduled for Tuesday, the 10-year bonds on Wednesday, and the 30-year bonds on Thursday.



Last month, the Treasury sold $119 billion across the same three maturities, with demand for three-year and 10-year bonds slightly above average, and demand for 30-year bonds at around average levels.
