New york: Major US stock market indices opened slightly lower on Wall Street on Tuesday. At the start of the session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 45.6 points, or 0.10 percent, to 45,236.83 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the S and P 500 opened down 3.8 points, or 0.06 percent, at 6,435.49 points, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 5.7 points, or 0.03 percent, opening at 21,443.631 points.
