Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah received a phone call on Thursday from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. During the call, the US official condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and several countries in the region, reaffirming the right of affected states to take all necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides also discussed the strategic relations between Kuwait and the United States and explored ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
