According to Qatar News Agency, President Trump, in a post on his platform Truth Social, shared details following a meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos at the White House. The agreement includes opening the Philippine market to US goods. As part of the deal, the Philippines will impose a 19% tariff on these goods. In addition to economic terms, the agreement outlines plans for strengthened military cooperation between the two nations.
