US Denies Involvement in Attacks on Iran

Washington: The United States has denied involvement in an Israeli entity's attacks on Iran. White House spokesman Alex Pfeiffer stated on the X platform that reports of US involvement in these attacks are "fake news," emphasizing that American forces are maintaining their defensive posture, which has not changed. He added, "We will defend American interests."

According to Qatar News Agency, Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell also addressed an Israeli channel's report claiming that US aircraft participated in strikes against Iran, categorically stating that the report was "not true."

In a related development, the White House announced that US President Donald Trump will return to Washington before the end of the G7 summit in Canada due to developments in the Middle East.

On Friday morning, the Israeli entity launched airstrikes targeting nuclear and military facilities in Iran, which resulted in the deaths of leaders and scientists, as well as civilian casualties. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks on sites in the occupied territories, escalating fears of a wider regional confrontation that could jeopardize stability in the area.
