UNHRC Presidency, a Recognition of Morocco’s International Stature (Mexican Expert)

Morocco's election to the presidency of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is a "recognition" of the international stature and esteem enjoyed by the Kingdom worldwide, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, said Mexican international relations expert Roman Lopez Villicana. In a statement to MAP, the analyst pointed out that this decision also attests to the serious efforts made by Morocco to promote freedoms and human rights, noting that the Kingdom stands out in this field on an Arab and continental scale thanks to its inclusive and integrated policies. The choice of Morocco reflects the Kingdom's constant commitment to the collective effort to promote human rights worldwide, added the professor. Source: Agency Morocaine De Presse
