Paris: The Chair of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Dr. Nasser bin Hamad Al Henzab, recognized the significant contributions of the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation in advancing and supporting the global right to education. He emphasized that education serves as a crucial pillar for achieving international stability and peace. According to Qatar News Agency, during a graduation ceremony for young refugees at Sciences Po in France, Dr. Al Henzab noted that the Foundation's support for this program aligns with its dedication to the fourth UN Sustainable Development Goal. This goal underscores quality education as a vital driver for empowering individuals and communities, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable future. Dr. Al Henzab also reaffirmed UNESCO's commitment to collaborating with international initiatives that promote the quality and continuity of education, especially in conflict zones. This aligns with UNESCO's strategy to safeguard education and bolster education systems in fragile circumstances. The ceremony, attended by Dr. Amer Diaa, Technical Director of Higher Education and representative of the EAA Foundation, spotlighted Qatar's leading role in international education support. It emphasized education as a foundational tool for peacebuilding and empowering youth affected by conflict. Honoring the graduates of the sixth cohort of the Professional Certificate Program for Young Refugees, the event celebrated students from conflict-affected regions worldwide. The program facilitates their educational and professional pursuits, enhancing their academic and economic integration. Supported by several international partners, the program has benefited from the steadfast partnership of the Education Above All Foundation for four years. This partnership highlights the Foundation's ongoing commitment to equitable access to quality education, particularly for marginalized and crisis-affected populations.
