Tashkent: HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Eng. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met Tuesday with HE First Deputy Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Qudratov Obidjon, and HE First Deputy Minister of Culture Tadjikhanov Avazkhan of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation in environmental and climate issues, in addition to discussing prospects for exchanging expertise in the fields of sustainability and preservation of natural resources, and enhancing joint efforts to address environmental challenges.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations through collaborative initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable practices and environmental conservation. Both parties expressed interest in exploring opportunities for knowledge transfer and technical assistance to tackle pressing environmental concerns. The meeting underscored the importance of international cooperation in creating effective strategies for climate adaptation and mitigation.
