Kyiv: The Ukrainian army announced Tuesday that the number of Russian military deaths and injuries since the beginning of the war between Moscow and Kyiv has risen to approximately 990,800 soldiers, including 1,100 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement that Ukrainian forces have destroyed 10,881 tanks, including 7 tanks yesterday, 22,671 armored combat vehicles, 28,623 artillery systems, 1,402 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,176 air defense systems since the beginning of the war.
The statement added that 384 warplanes, 336 helicopters, 38,748 drones, 3,271 cruise missiles, 28 warships, one submarine, 50,607 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,905 special equipment units have also been destroyed.
Moscow and Kyiv continue to issue conflicting field reports, which cannot be independently verified due to the conditions of the war and the ongoing battles since Feb. 2022.
