Kyiv: The Ukrainian Air Force announced today that Russia carried out attacks using 85 drones and a ballistic missile, targeting several regions across the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement posted on Telegram, the Air Force explained that the strikes hit the regions of Sumy, Donetsk, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk overnight. It added that Ukrainian air defense units managed to destroy 61 drones.

In its daily morning report, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 139 clashes along the front line over the past 24 hours. These attacks come as a summit in Alaska between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin concluded, during which the two leaders discussed the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine that began on Feb. 24, 2022.
