Abu dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi engaged in discussions during a phone call on Tuesday, focusing on regional and international developments. The dialogue centered on their implications for regional and global security and stability, encompassing maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation also highlighted ongoing Iranian attacks targeting civilians, facilities, and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and other countries in the region. These actions were described as violations of national sovereignty, international law and norms, and the UN Charter.
The leaders further explored bilateral relations, discussing avenues to enhance cooperation, especially in the economic and development fields. They affirmed their commitment to strengthening and advancing their strategic partnership, aiming for greater collaboration between the two nations.
