Doha: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call Friday with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Middle East, along with ongoing efforts to address them.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, both sides emphasized the importance of promoting dialogue and diplomatic solutions in addressing regional issues, in order to consolidate peace, maintain security and stability, and fulfill the aspirations of their peoples for development and prosperity.
They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and joint efforts between the UAE and Iraq across all fields to serve their mutual interests.
