Abu dhabi: The UAE Defense Ministry announced that air defenses on Thursday intercepted 15 ballistic missiles and 11 UAVs launched from Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, since the start of the Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have intercepted 372 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,826 UAVs. The ministry added that these attacks resulted in the martyrdom of two members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, along with the martyrdom of a Moroccan civilian contracted by the Armed Forces. Additionally, there were eight fatalities of different nationalities. The attacks also left 169 people injured, with injuries ranging from minor to severe.
The UAE Defense Ministry affirmed its full preparedness and readiness to deal with any threats, stating it will firmly confront anything that aims to undermine the country's security. The ministry emphasized its commitment to ensuring the protection of its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as safeguarding its interests and national capabilities.
