UAE and UK Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Security and Stability

Ankara: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Yvette Cooper, held discussions on Saturday regarding regional developments. The talks focused on the unprovoked Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and several other countries, highlighting the significant implications for regional and international security, the safety of international navigation, energy supplies, and the global economy.

According to Qatar News Agency, Yvette Cooper expressed the UK's solidarity with the UAE, emphasizing support for the measures necessary to protect the nation's sovereignty, uphold territorial integrity, and ensure the security of its citizens, residents, and visitors.

The discussions also covered the latest regional developments concerning the ceasefire declaration between the United States and Iran. Both parties stressed the importance of enhancing international efforts to bolster security and stability, aiming to promote sustainable peace in the region. Additionally, they addressed several topics of mutual interest.
