Abu dhabi: The UAE Defense Ministry reported that its air defenses engaged a total of 19 ballistic missiles and 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, since the onset of the Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have intercepted a significant number of threats, including 457 ballistic missiles, 19 cruise missiles, and 2,038 UAVs. These attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of two UAE armed forces members and a Moroccan civilian contractor. Additionally, nine other individuals from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Palestine, and India lost their lives.
The attacks have also caused injuries to 191 individuals, with the severity ranging from minor to severe. The injured hail from a wide array of countries, including UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, Sweden, and Tunisia.
