Doha: FIFA's Referees Committee has assigned a Qatari officiating crew to oversee the Round of 16 match between Ireland and Switzerland at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025. The game is scheduled to be played on Tuesday at Mohammed Ghanem Stadium in Aspire Zone.
According to Qatar News Agency, the appointed Qatari refereeing team includes Mohammed Ahmed Al Shammari as the on-field referee, with Khalid Al Ayed as the first assistant referee and Faisal Eid Al Shammari as the second assistant referee. This is the fourth match in the tournament that the Qatari crew will be officiating.
The same refereeing team has previously officiated several matches in the tournament, including Switzerland vs. Cote d'Ivoire in the first round, England vs. Haiti in the second round, and El Salvador vs. Germany in the third round.
