Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today the death of two paramedics and the wounding of six others in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon. In a statement, the ministry said that Israel targeted two Lebanese Civil Defense posts in the towns of Tyre and Jouaya.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to put an end to these attacks, which constitute a threat to international order. Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes today targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon. The Israeli army also issued a warning to evacuate the southern suburbs of Beirut.
