Doha: Two Palestinians were wounded on Saturday by Israeli occupation army gunfire in the occupied West Bank, with colonists assaulting Palestinians in various areas across the territory.
According to Qatar News Agency, a 17-year-old Palestinian was wounded after being shot in the legs while in Sheikh Saad village, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, and was subsequently taken to hospital, the Red Crescent Society reported.
Another Palestinian was shot in the back during the incursion of Israeli occupation forces into Al-Mughayyir village in northeast Ramallah and was severely beaten prior to being hospitalized.
In a separate incident, colonists from Karmei Tzur Settlement, heavily guarded by occupation forces, assaulted Palestinians in Halhul Town, north of Hebron, injuring an elderly woman with a deep head wound, in addition to causing wounds and bruises to a child and a young man.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided Qalqilya city from the eastern entry, deploying in Soufin and Al-Fateh Mosque areas and firing a salvo of flashbangs, with no reports of arrests or storming operations.
Israeli occupation forces continue their escalation in the West Bank concurrently with intensified military operations in the Gaza enclave.
