Rafah: Two Palestinians were killed on Sunday in an Israeli drone attack on the east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that the two martyrs were hospitalized, bringing the number of martyrs since Sunday morning to six. Earlier, four Palestinians were martyred in shelling incidents in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza enclave, as well as Rafah and Khan Younis in the south.
Meanwhile, local sources indicated that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire north of Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, with Israeli tanks firing several sound shells at the center of Rafah. This was seen as a continuation of Israel’s breaches of the ceasefire.
Since Sunday, Israeli forces have been intensively firing at numerous areas across the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire agreement signed between Israel and the Hamas movement.
On Sunday, Israel announced the suspension of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and the closure of crossings until further notice. This action included closing the Kerem Shalom border crossing and turning back trucks carrying life-saving relief aid.
