Gaza: Two Palestinians were martyred Monday as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a shelter in the central Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that the two civilians, one of them a child, were killed in a drone strike on a group of citizens inside a shelter school east of Al-Bureij camp.

Three Palestinians were martyred this afternoon, while several others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a group of citizens in the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced earlier Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 48,577 martyrs and 112,041 wounded.

It is worth noting that the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel went into effect on January 19, but the Israeli occupation continues to target the Gaza Strip with sporadic strikes and operations, resulting in deaths and injuries.
