Two Palestinian citizens were killed and several others injured on Tuesday as Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip continued.
Local sources reported that one person was killed and others were injured in a strike targeting a gathering of civilians near the Industrial Junction, west of Gaza City in the northern part of the enclave. Another citizen was killed in an artillery shelling west of Al Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
This comes after the death of seven Palestinians and multiple injuries caused by an Israeli artillery strike on a school sheltering displaced people in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
The death toll from Israel’s ongoing aggression on northern Gaza, now in its 18th day, has exceeded 700. Israeli forces have intensified attacks on shelters and hospitals in northern Gaza, which have been under siege for three days.
